We offer clients the opportunity to access liquidity by using their investment holdings as collateral, either through an investment account or an Investment Savings Account (ISK). The credit facility is not tied to a fixed interest rate. Instead, the applicable interest rate is based on the prevailing rate at the time the credit is utilised.

Opening a securities account with Mangold is free of charge, and we do not charge any custody fees for holding securities. Costs only apply when you carry out transactions, such as buying or selling securities.
A securities account functions similarly to a traditional bank account, while also allowing you to hold investments such as equities and mutual funds alongside cash. When investing through a securities account, you pay brokerage fees when trading securities, and capital gains and dividends are subject to a 30% tax. If you sell securities at a loss, you may be entitled to a tax deduction in accordance with applicable tax rules.
With an Investment Savings Account (ISK), taxation is instead based on an annual flat-rate calculation linked to the value of the account. You are not required to report individual securities transactions in your tax return. Brokerage fees apply when trading securities.
